12th World Bamboo Congress Taiwan DATE CHANGE

Take note: We are full-steam ahead on planning the 12th World Bamboo Congress to be held in Taiwan in 2024. The dates are 18-22 April, 2024. Our Host is the Taiwan Bamboo Society, sponsored by the Taiwan Forestry Bureau and the National Taiwan Craft Research Institute. The venues will be in Hsinchu, Caotun, and Zhushan.

Call for Papers - 12th WBC Taiwan

The 12th World Bamboo Congress is now accepting papers for consideration for a video presentation as part of its vast Program. There will be no oral presentation of selected papers in principle, only videos. However, the best papers might be invited for an oral presentation, and the organizers reserve the right to the final decision.

Taoyuan to host World Bamboo Congress in 2024

The Taiwan Forestry Bureau is to host the 2024 World Bamboo Congress in Taoyuan, after the event was postponed and then canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Forestry Bureau said yesterday. The nation’s bid to host the conference is part of the bureau’s bamboo industry revival program that is being implemented from this year to 2025.

Planning Underway for 12th World Bamboo Congress Taiwan 2020

We've been busy in Taiwan with all our partners to coordinate the 12th World Bamboo Congress, to be held September 18-22, 2020. Suggested TOPICS must consider different areas of the ENVIRONMENT, SOCIETY AND ECONOMY and are aligned to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

11th World Bamboo Congress to be held in Mexico, 2018

Every three years, the World Bamboo Organization (WBO) organizes the World Bamboo Congress for the public dissemination of the most current scientific and field research information available worldwide. The 11th WBC will be in the city of Xalapa in the state of Veracruz, Mexico, hosted by Bambues y Forestales de Mexico, A.C. in August 2018.

The Host-bidder should be an organization of repute involved in the field of Bamboo/ Forestry /Science/ Environment / Livelihood Improvement or any other relevant fields.

The 10th World Bamboo Congress

The 10th World Bamboo Congress will take place in South Korea, hosted by the delegation of Damyang-gun. Damyang county is located in the southwest corner of South Korea, in Jeollanum-do. The 10th World Bamboo Congress take place over 5 days, 17-22 Sept in 2015.
