Champions of Change: Advocates for Bamboo

Our World Bamboo Ambassadors are the heart of our organization.  Since our Honorary Council began in 2005, this group has grown into a key network driving our mission to advance bamboo's global potential.

Role and Responsibilities of WBO Ambassadors

Advocacy and Awareness

Ambassadors actively promote bamboo’s environmental, economic, and social benefits through various platforms. This includes engaging with audiences via social media, delivering public presentations, and participating in community outreach efforts.

Support for WBO Initiatives

Ambassadors play a crucial role in organizing and participating in key WBO events, such as the World Bamboo Congress and workshops. They bring their expertise and influence to these events, ensuring their success and impact.

Networking and Collaboration

Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the bamboo sector is a core responsibility. Ambassadors connect with businesses, researchers, and policymakers, fostering partnerships that support WBO’s mission and objectives.

Education and Outreach
