The World Bamboo Organization invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) for hosting the 13th World Bamboo Congress from institutions, bamboo societies, NGOs and universities based in any of the following locations:
Asia
Europe and the UK
North America
Africa
Australia
The 12th WBC will take place in Taiwan in 2020, therefore a non-Asian region is preferred to host the 13th WBC.
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The Host-bidder should be an organization of repute involved in the field of Bamboo/ Forestry /Science/ Environment / Livelihood Improvement or any other relevant fields involving Bamboo.
The Host-bidder should have experience in organizing and hosting events of similar scale, or feel competent in the abilities and commitment of its NOC. The bidder should have a physical presence in the proposed location of the event.
And very importantly, be able to raise the necessary capital to sponsor the event.
