As a Fundraising and Partnership Development Volunteer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our fundraising efforts and building valuable partnerships. Role: Support the World Bamboo Organization (WBO) in its fundraising initiatives and partnership development, advancing our mission to promote bamboo for sustainable development.


Responsibilities:


Fundraising Initiatives:


  • Strategy and Campaigns:

    • Assist in creating and implementing fundraising strategies and campaigns.

    • Help develop innovative approaches to attract and engage donors.

  • Research and Identification:

    • Identify potential funding sources, including grants, corporate sponsors, and individual donors.

    • Conduct research to uncover new opportunities for support.

  • Proposal and Presentation:

    • Prepare compelling fundraising proposals, presentations, and reports.

    • Craft materials that effectively communicate WBO’s mission and goals.

  • Event Planning:

    • Support the planning and organization of fundraising events and activities.

    • Contribute to event logistics and execution to ensure success.

Partnership Development:


  • Partner Identification:

    • Identify and reach out to potential partners that align with WBO’s mission and goals.

    • Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective partners.

  • Agreement Management:

    • Draft and manage partnership agreements and documentation.

    • Ensure that partnership terms are clear and beneficial for all parties.

  • Promotional Outreach:

    • Collaborate with the communications team to develop promotional materials and partnership outreach campaigns.

    • Help create engaging content to promote WBO’s partnerships.

Reporting and Administration:


  • Progress Monitoring:

    • Track and report on fundraising progress and the effectiveness of initiatives.

    • Analyze data to assess the impact of fundraising activities.

  • Record Keeping:

    • Maintain accurate records of donations, sponsorships, and partnership agreements.

    • Ensure that documentation is organized and up-to-date.

  • Updates and Reporting:

    • Provide regular updates and detailed reports to the WBO team and stakeholders.

    • Share insights and progress on fundraising and partnership efforts.

Skills Required:


  • Fundraising: Experience or interest in developing and executing fundraising strategies.

  • Partnership Management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and donors.

  • Communication: Strong writing and verbal skills for creating proposals and engaging stakeholders.

  • Organization: Efficiently manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in reporting and documentation.

  • Language: Proficiency in English is essential for this role.
