The purpose of the WBF is to support and advance the use of sustainably grown and harvested timber bamboo as a major contributor for both global climate change and poverty mitigation.

In conjunction with a private foundation, the World Bamboo Organization has established the World Bamboo Foundation (WBF). The leadership of the WBO and the private foundation share the objective to recognize timber bamboo silviculture and commercialization alongside that of traditional wood.

We are committed to show the world that we are serious about bamboo. We see the potentials and opportunities of this incredible natural resource.
