A training course hosted by DKB's Jan Oprins and WBO Ambassador Jean Luc Kouyoumji's Bambou Sciences et Innovations NPO has been designed to meet the need for knowledge and know- how. Time will be divided between technical and practical training.
Requested by bamboo project holders, Oprins and Kouyoumji created this training course to meet the essential needs expressed, such as project concerns: the creation of a plantation, the management of a nursery, the maintenance of a plantation, the exploitation of bamboo culms, the transformation of bamboo into material, the production of charcoal, pellets or biomass-energy, the use of bamboo for construction, furniture or handicrafts.
