As part of the 12th World Bamboo Congress and Bamboo Expo held in Taiwan, the World Bamboo Organization has selected the post-Congress tour in Yunlin County as a World Bamboo Landmark event. Yunlin County is the heart of agriculture in Taiwan, rich in a vast array of food crops, including bamboo shoots, and rich in forest products. Four different species of bamboo are harvested here for edible shoots. (Phyllostachys makino, Phyllostachys edulis, Bambusa oldhamii, and Dendrocalamus latiflorus).

Read more...On September 16, 2019, during the 1st Congress of Thanh Hoa Bamboo Association held at the Thanh Tam EcoPark, Mr Luong Viet Loi of Sam Son City, Thanh Hoa Province, Vietnam was awarded the first ever certificate of "being = bamboo member of humanity". This event also earned the title World Bamboo Landmark.
