A few of the world's experts in building with bamboo came together to share their knowledge earlier this month in the Engineered Bamboo for Sustainable Construction Conference sponsored by The University of British Columbia, Zhejiang Agricultural and Forestry University, and the World Bamboo Organization. From ISO approval to carbon sequestration to significant research findings, the presentations covered all aspects of the amazing human creations we prosaically refer to as buildings.
Over 800 persons from around the world registered for this free, virtual conference, which took place over 3 days.
