We are within 4 weeks of the Opening Ceremony in Hsinchu, Taiwan! The Technical Committee, chaired by Dr. Nirmala Chongtham, has been working very hard to put together the Academic Sessions, and the invited speakers will be traveling from around the world to share with us their exciting work.
The immense demand to attend exceeded our expectations and unfortunately we had to close the registration very early. We will have an audience of approximately 500 people; nearly 200 people are coming from outside of Taiwan. We are extremely grateful for the interest and enthusiasm of the global bamboo community!
We hope to have many aspects of the event filmed for later viewing. The scientific papers and PowerPoint presentations will be made available for free download from our website. We hope these will be viewed as useful references for those interested in the many subjects of great relevance today.
