How will you celebrate? We welcome you to share a few hours with us in Washington, D.C. at the Smithsonian's National Zoo! As part of Hispanic Heritage Month in D.C., the Zoo is hosting Zoo Fiesta on Sunday, September 18. World Bamboo Organization will be there with information about bamboo in general, especially about bamboo in the Americas.
Join Eduardo Ruiz-Sanchez (Bamboo of the Americas project, Executive Director), Martin Abdi Mortera (DICMA Trade), Susanne Lucas and Sonja Sheasley (WBO staff), Noah Bell (Bamboo Garden Nursery, manager) and James Clever (Bamboo Gardener). We will have an art project for kids led by James Clever, and hear music provided by Zoo Fiesta!
