Linh Tran began her involvement with the World Bamboo Organization (WBO) in 2018, marking the start of a journey filled with learning and growth. She has served as a member of the International Organizing Committee for the World Bamboo Workshop in Vietnam in 2022 and for the World Bamboo Congress in Taiwan in 2024. Linh has embraced the opportunity to contribute to a cause she deeply believes in.
Currently, Linh is a PhD candidate in International Development at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing. Her research focuses on cultural diplomacy and how bamboo can act as a bridge between people and cultures. She is driven by a simple yet profound belief—that bamboo, a symbol of resilience and unity, can play a meaningful role in fostering world peace.
As a World Bamboo Ambassador, Linh is committed to promoting bamboo through tourism, cultural exchanges, and education. She approaches her work with humility, recognizing that while bamboo’s impact may be subtle, it holds the potential to bring people together in ways that can truly make a difference.
